Visits like this are always bittersweet experiences. It’s obviously very sad to be in a place where families lives are tunred upside down with children who are really poorly but they’re always so happy and positive. You never actually see any sadness when you’re visiting. 

One of the most important things I learnt was that Ty Hafan doesn’t just offer care for children as they approach the end of their life. The hospice is there for so much more than that.
